Does the Aviation Safety Council only investigate civil aircrafts? Does it investigate military aircraft occurrences?

        The ASC investigates aviation occurrences in accordance with the Aviation Occurrence Investigation Act. And the scope of aircraft to be investigated under this Act shall consist of civil aircraft, public aircraft, and ultra-light vehicle. Among them the civil aircraft contains the generally called airlines' passenger aircraft and cargo aircraft. Public aircrafts are those owned or used by a government agency to carry out official duties, excluding the military aircraft administered by the Ministry of Defense. Therefore, the ASC will not investigate the military aircraft occurrences.
