On December 21, 2014, Daily Air Corp. flight DACTRN1, a DO228 airplane, registration number B-55565 took off at 1422 local time (0622 UTC) from Taitung airport for local aerial training. The aircraft returned to the airport around 1500 local time (0700 UTC) and executed takeoff and landing exercise. At 1529, when performed single engine land subjects, the flight crew landed the airplane without lowered the landing gear. The aircraft sustained substantial damage; no crew onboard received any injuries.

The Aviation Safety Council (ASC) after receiving the notification has determined the event is an aviation occurrence defined by the “Aviation Occurrence Act”. The Investigator-In-Charge has been assigned to this investigation.
