National Airborne Service Corps, Ministry of the Interior NA-302 Occurrence Initial Report

On November 7, 2015, the National Airborne Service Corps, Ministry of the Interior, a Beechcraft King Air BE-350, NA-302, national registration number B-13153 took off from Cingcyuangang/Taichung Airport at 1034 Taipei local time for an aerial photography mission. The aircraft landed at Cingcyuangang Airport at 1353, when touchdown, the aircraft landing gears were retracted and the aircraft landed with belly. The aircraft was stopped at  about 5,000 feet from the threshold of runway 18 with both flaps, propellers damaged. Both flight crews and 2 aerial photographers were all safe. 

After the Aviation Safety Council (ASC) was notified, a Go Team was dispatched immediately to the Cingcyuangang/Taichung Airport to proceed related data collection. The team performed evidence collection tasks including the runway measurements, aircraft inspection, crews, photographers and controller interviews. According to Aviation Occurrence Investigation Act, the ASC identified the event as an aviation occurrence and assigned an Investigator-in-Charge to proceed with the occurrence investigation.

The factual data related to the occurrence will be released after the factual report is completed.
