Daily Air Corp. B-55573 Occurrence Initial Report

On April 23, 2018, Daily Air Corp. flight DA7012, a DHC-6-400 airplane, registration number B-55573, took off at 1655 Taipei local time from Qimei airport for a scheduled passenger flight to Kaohsiung airport. The aircraft veered off runway 09 during landing roll at 1722. On board 2 flight crews and 15 passengers were all safe.

The Aviation Safety Council (ASC) after receiving the notification has determined the event is an aviation occurrence defined by the “Aviation Occurrence Act”. The Investigator-In-Charge has been assigned to this investigation. The investigation team had completed the Cockpit Voice Recorder/ Flight Data Recorder removal, aircraft system test, flight crew interview, site survey, and the airport facilities survey.
