On 19 October 2018, at about 0600LT, a China Airlines flight No. CI5880, Boeing B744 Freighter Aircraft with registration B-18719 had a tire burst on number 11 wheel at stand 507 in Changi Airport, Singapore while the tire pressure had being serviced. There was no aircraft damage and personnel injury on this incident.

The Singapore Transport Safety Investigation Bureau confirmed the event is a serious incident in accordance with the ICAO Annex 13 and acknowledge to ASC. The ASC assigned the AR accordingly and cooperate with the specific investigation.
