On April 23rd, 2021, about 1230 Taipei local time, a paragliding, type APCO Aviation Ltd. THRSUT HP S, vehicle serial no. 177821BA. There was one operator on board. It departed from Dulan village sea-viewing platform in Donghe Township, Taitung County. After taking-off, the paragliding fell on the beach outside of sea-viewing platform. The paragliding was minor damaged, and the operator was seriously injured, and sent to Taitung Mackay Menorial Hospital for emergency treatment.
