On March 16, 2023, a SHARK.LSA ultra-light vehicle with one operator and one occupant on board, control number SF 2555, of Shun Feng Flying Association took off from private owned Shun Feng air field at 1502 local time. The ultra-light vehicle crashed on the embankment of the Zhuo Shui River at around 1523 local time. This ultra-light vehicle was burned and destroyed. The on board operator and occupant were all deceased in the crash.

After receiving the notification, the Taiwan Transportation Safety Board (TTSB) launched the go-team headed to the crash site on March 16, 2023. Related evidence collections performed by the team including wreckage inspection and site survey etc.

In accordance with the Transportation Occurrences Investigation Act, the occurrence investigation was initiated by the TTSB. Further information related to the occurrence will be published after the completion of the investigation.
