On March 3, 2025, at 18:18, a tourist bus operated by Kuang Cheng Tai Transportation Co., Ltd. traveling in the right lane hit a tree on the sidewalk in front of No. 166, Section 2, Minquan East Road in Zhongshan District, Taipei City. As a result of the crash, 21 occupants sustained injuries.

After receiving the notification, the Taiwan Transportation Safety Board (TTSB) immediately dispatched 2 investigators to the field to gather information in accordance with the procedures for investigating highway occurrences. This event was identified as a highway occurrence in accordance with the Transportation Occurrence Investigation Act and the Scope of Major Transportation Occurrence by the TTSB. An official investigation has been launched and the investigation team will continue to gather relevant evidence.
