On April 17, 2026, about 11:38 A.M., a bus operated by Danan Bus Co., Ltd. collided with a roadside guardrail while traveling westbound on Quanyuan Road in Beitou District, Taipei City. As a result of the crash, 15 occupants sustained injuries.

Upon receiving notification of the occurrence, the Taiwan Transportation Safety Board (TTSB) immediately dispatched three investigators to the site to collect information in accordance with the procedures for investigating highway occurrences. This event was identified by the TTSB as a highway occurrence in accordance with the Transportation Occurrence Investigation Act. An official investigation has been launched and the investigation team will continue to collect relevant evidence.
