The most important function (hyperlink) of the investigation laboratory under ASC is to readout the flight recorder concerning certain aviation occurrences. ASC is now able to readout a great majority of FDR/CVR manufactured by Honeywell, L-3 Communications and Universal Avionics, by purchasing the download equipment made by the manufacturers, training professional personnel, and conducting annual survey of flight recorders (hyperlink).
