Description
On March 9, 2026, about 12:15 p.m., a shuttle bus owned by the Sun-Link-Sea Forest and Nature Resort rolled over into a ravine in Zhushan Township, Nantou County. The crash resulted in 1 fatality and 7 injuries.
Stage
Upon receiving notification of the occurrence, the Taiwan Transportation Safety Board (TTSB) immediately dispatched three investigators to the site to collect information in accordance with the procedures for investigating highway occurrences. This event was identified by the TTSB as a highway occurrence in accordance with the Transportation Occurrence Investigation Act. An official investigation has been launched and the investigation team will continue to collect relevant evidence.
