Description
At 23:50 on 29 July 2026, a diesel-hydraulic locomotive DHL102 at Qidu Shunting Yard of Taiwan Railway Corporation, coupled to passenger trainset and an electric locomotive No. E553, was pushing the trainset into Track W13 inside the maintenance workshop to couple with another electric locomotive No. E505 stabled on the same track. During the shunting movement, locomotives No. E553 and No. E505 collided, causing damage to equipment at the front of both locomotives. There were no casualties in this occurrence.
