On 3,20,2005 0700Hrs(local time), a HawkII Ultra Light aircraft, with 2 occupants on board，took off from a private Ultra Light airfield at Taipei. According to the interview, no abnormal found by the operator during the cruising phase, the Ultra Light crashed at N2450’16”,E 121 35’47”, the crash site height was 3,500 fts Two occupants received no injury , Ultra light was substantial damaged. The Aviation Safety Council conducted the investigation according to the Investigation Act . During the investigation, the investigation team found out that at the time of the occurrence, the Ultra light received no certificate, operator received no lincience, none of the Ultra Light flying activities was permitted by the Civil Aviation Authority, therefore, it was an ellegal Ultra light flight. Under the above condition, the investigation approached toward legal regulations, organizational and present operation status rather than tecnical aspect.
