Description

On November 07, 2005, at 1230 Taipei local time, a B-234 rotorcraft of the National Airborne Service Crops (NASC), registration number NA-603, performed its schedule high mountain operating training from Taitung/Fengnin airport. At 1350, it landed back to Taitung/Fengnin airport. While the main rotors were approaching to full stop, the rod end of the aft red lead-lag blade damper broke and hit the left-upper side of the fuselage, its skin and structure had damaged. The front green blade, after red blade, upper left aft pylon and oil canning deformed. Three pilots, 3 flight engineers, 2 rescuers, 2 foreign instructors, and one translator on board were no injury.
