Description

At 0419 local time, July 10th, 2009, a BK117 helicopter, registration number B-77088, operated by Sunrise Airlines, from Taipei Songshen Airport Taiwan to Kinmen Airport Taiwan. The helicopter requested for landing by direct crossing the runway, then lost contact immediately after communicated with Kinmen airport tower. Kinmem airport switched on crash alarm and informed related units. At 0527 local time, national search and rescue center identified the helicopter crashed into sea water at about 1 knot away of south of Kinmen airport with the pilot survived and 2 fatalities.
