Description

On December 28, 2010, at 20:42UTC EVA Airways Flight number BR61, an Airbus A330-203 aircraft with registration number B-16312, departed from Bangkok International Airport, Thailand, to Vienna International Airport, Austria. The flight departed with 77 occupants on board including 66 passengers, 11 crew members. At 0533UTC, the aircraft encountered loss of both bleed air systems and de-pressurization at flight level FL400 during en route. Flight crew members conducted an emergency descent and landed safely at Simferopol International Airport, Ukraine, at 0605 on December 29, 2010. The aircraft was not damaged and none of the 77 occupants were injured. The Authority of state of occurrence, State Aviation Adminstration, Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine, delegated the counducting of investigation to Aviation Safety Council, Taiwan on 29 December, 2010.
