Description

On February 5th, 2015, Daily Air Corp. flight DA7505, a Dornier 228 airplane, registration number B-55563 took off at 1251 Taipei local time from Taitung airport for schedule passenger flight to Lanyu airport. The aircraft veered off the runway strips during landing roll. The flight crew commenced a reject landing and then discovered that the landing gears handle could not be retracted, hence they decided to make an air turn back to Taitung airport. In order to make sure the condition of landing gears, the flight crew performed 3 low pass prior landing for tower controller and related personnel to confirm. The aircraft landed safely at 1350 at Taitung airport without substantial damage; no personnel onboard received any injuries.
