Description

On November 22, 2017, EVA Airways scheduled passengers flight 56, aircraft model B777-300ER, registration number B-16718, took off from Taoyuan International Airport (RCTP), Taiwan, R.O.C, to O'Hare International Airport (KORD), the United States. While the aircraft on the high seas, 42 nm, ENE, from the Miyazaki Airport (RJFM), Japan, at altitude about 31,000 feet, encountered a turbulence, 3 passengers and 8 cabin crew members suffered abrasion and contusion injuries, included one of the cabin crew members suffered a serious injury, distal RH fibula fracture. The aircraft landed at November 23, 0038 UTC in the O'Hare .
