On September 11, 2019, a Kaohsiung-registered fishing boat Golden Yuan, registration number CT6-1454, caught fire in Mauritius Port Louis at 8:00 AM local time. There were 26 crew members on board (1 Taiwanese, 1 Chinese, 2 Indonesian, and 22 Filipino). All people were safe.
