On October 28, 2019, a New Taipei City registered fishing boat Xiejian No. 168, registration number CT6-1349, hit a rock and capsized on Huaping Island, Keelung. It was connected by a friendly ship Xiejian No. 28. 16 people on board were rescued, and the personnel is safe.
