Description
A container vessel "EVER LUCID", collided with a China registered fishing vessel within Zhoushan water. The accident caused 5 crew members of fishing vessel missed and one crew member rescued.
In this case, after many efforts, TTSB still cannot obtain any information of the fishing vessel. Based on the fact that the competent authority of the fishing vessel, the Maritime Safety Administration of China, has published the investigation report of the case. No.40 committee meeting of TTSB approved the suspension of this investigation on July 1, 2011, but still included in accident statistics.
