Description
On January 25, 2025, at 19:25, an electric vehicle belonging to Sunshine-Lease Car Rental Co., Ltd. collided with a crash attenuator in the gore area on the southbound exit ramp to the Yangmei Rest Area on Freeway No. 1 and caught fire. Four occupants were killed, and four others were injured in the incident.
