Description
On May 4, 2020, a New Taipei City-registered fishing boat "Xinjifa No. 168", CT number CT3-3749, collided with a Pingtung-registered fishing boat "Quanyoucai No. 8", CT number CT3-4500, at eight nautical miles off the coast of Nanwan, Pingtung County. This Marine Occurrence caused the fishing boat "Xinjifa No. 168" capsized and eight crew members were rescued without any casualties or oil spills.
