On May 25, 2020, a Penghu-registered fishing boat "Xindefa No. 16", CT number CT2-5734, She sank after caught fire in the sea area off Penghu (Position: Lat. 23°29' N, Long. 119°01' E). Two crew members on board were rescued and all are safe.
