Description
About 1600 hours on June 5, 2020, a Kaohsiung-registered fishing boat named "Yuantai 216", CT number CT7-0267. She sank after caught fire at about 470 nautical miles to the west of the Maldives Economic Sea Line (position: Lat. 7°55.4' N, Long. 61°26.2' E). The 29 crew members being rescued by a friendly ship and were all safe, but a crew member was still missing and has not been found for over 72 hours of searching.
