On August 5, 2021 at 1328, a general cargo vessel SAM BO II owned by Far Ocean marine transport corp., was reported grounding at 0.4 nautical mile off from Budai port, drifting to the north breakwater. The hull of vessel collided with tetrapod, causing vessel flooding and sinking. No personnel injury or oil pollution in this occurrence.
