On November 10, 2020, at 2041, a general cargo ship, SPLENDOR TAIPEI, IMO NO.9377729, contacted inner side of south breakwater during departure from Taichung port, caused damage to the ship bow and dislocation of breakwater concrete structure. No personnel injury or oil pollution in this occurrence.
